His explanations were clear and insightful, especially his sharing about the history and significance of the Xiyanglou ruins, which gave us a much deeper understanding of the site. I had a great experience with tour guides Li Huixing and Liu Depeng this time. The meeting point was confirmed and some important information was provided via WeChat the night before. The day of the activity was purely sightseeing with no shopping stops, and the time was well-planned. The tour guides were very friendly and helpful. Guide Liu is very knowledgeable about history, and his afternoon tours of the Summer Palace and Old Summer Palace were excellent; highly recommended.★

It was an amazing experience overall. The guide Susan was amazing . She made sure the whole group met in the location to start the tour. She is quite passionate and knowledgeable. She took good care of the group and her English is quite good. As a group we felt like a family . It was great meeting different people . The tour was quite insightful and makes one just awe at the Chinese culture and history. Definitely worth it! Oh and I booked the trip same day which was a plus on short notice 🥰★

Extremely experienced and also knowledgeable tour guide led the tour. He was able to rattle off poems amidst his explanation of the relics in Yuanmingyuan. Honestly if there’s no guide, you’d find it very very difficult to appreciate the place, as it is essentially a ruin. Not much has been restored and according to the guide, there’s no intention to restore the site.★
