Teacher Mao was very professional. A native of Shanghai, she was extremely familiar with Yu Garden and provided a very detailed explanation throughout the tour. The process wasn't tiring at all. We heard many stories about the garden, some of which weren't even online but were only recorded in the county annals. It was very vivid and interesting. She even took us to the City God Temple before the tour ended. It was definitely worth the trip! Yu Garden truly needs a guided tour; otherwise, you simply won't understand it! This trip was very worthwhile!★

If you come to Shanghai, you should definitely go see it! The amazing techniques can be quite nerve-wracking at times, but the satisfaction is high! The nearby department store also has everything you need, making it convenient. If you stay in the Xintiandi area, you can get to the venue at a low price (I took a direct bus for about 40 yen).Trip.com Picks
