The performances here do not have the sumtuous grandeur of those hosted at Astana Opera House. The theatre is smaller. The whole experience is, however, just as rewarding. This theatre tends to host more modern dance as well as traditiobal ballet. Look out for the special events where visiting troupes are welcomed. Prices for seats are incredibly good value compared to most major cities - with even lower priced seats allowing excellent views in confortabke seats.
