We thought that the Rila Monastery was spectacular. Our guide, Pavel, did a great job of giving us interesting information in regards to the monastery's history and customs. We are very glad that we chose to take the tour, we highly recommend it to others.★

Boyana church is very impressive. A portion is nearly 1,000 years old and in very good condition. It felt like walking back in time. Rila is a lovely serene place. I can see why the monks built their Monestary in this location. ★

What a perfect private tour of Rila monastery and Boyana church. This was just a tour with 2 people and the guide. The guide was really relaxed and made the trip about us and what we wanted to see. This made us feel relaxed and made it more a conversation that just a typical tour. We went for lunch at this perfect ‘non tourist’ spot by the river which was a highlight of the day also. All round, I’d recommend this to anyone wanting a great day exploring while it not feeling touristy.★

Great trip with a fantastically sweet and committed guide. Gorgeous was so friendly and skilled and we felt very safe in his company. His driving was calm and good. The car did need to have its brakes lubricated as they were howling a bit: Highly recommended. Regards Britt and Kasper
