Awesome trip with a great crew. Noo’ora our driver was friendly and funny and went out of his way to remember names, where we were from and why we were there and incorporated it into the commentary. Very clever! A wonderful day

We loved our tour. Took the 9am ferry over with reserved tickets and Michael, our guide, was waiting for us with our name on a sign. The van was fine with good people to hang out with. The highlight for me was lunch at Casita Miro. Such a beautiful place and view. Our food was excellent with wine tasting as well. The olive oil tasting a different place was also very nice. Michael also showed us highlights on the island including the beaches. Our tour ran a little over schedule so we weren't able to explore Oneroa. Caught the 4:30 ferry back with reserved tickets. Overall, well worth the ticket price and I do recommend it.

It was amazing! Dean our tour guide went far and beyond telling us about the history of winemakers and winemaking on Waiheke Island! Locations were great. John and I especially enjoyed Ares’ presentation at Casita Miro Winery and the love of his craft showed through! He’s destined to be a performer! Thanks again for a wonderful day!
Reviews: Waiheke Island: Scenic Island Wine Tour & Local Wine Tasting

Loved our guide Caleb, the transport and the places we went. Was a bit puzzled that we went to the The Batch for lunch and there was no organised tasting so we purchased separately. Happy to pay extra to have this included! If you have time, finishing the tour and staying at the Mudbrick would be a good option.
Reviews: Waiheke Island: Afternoon Wine Tour with Oceanfront Lunch
Guest User2026-03-02
This was an amazing tour and Rob was an excellent guide. The lunch was amazing with a fantastic view of the ocean. My fish was steamed in a banana leaf with an excellent sauce. The server unwrapped it for me at the table. The three vineyards we visited were excellent and we tried some amazing wines that I never knew were produced in New Zealand. The only New Zealand wine we get back home is Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. This little island produces very little Sauvignon Blanc, but excellent Piño agree, Chardonnay, Pinot noir and several others.
