Reviews: Full-Day Trip to Montserrat: Mountain-Top Monastery
Guest User2025-11-04
Only through my own ingenuity was I able to allow my disabled son (class II) to touch the Black Madonna, something the tour organizers hadn't provided (I got tickets at the ticket office without any problems, even though the guide, when asked, said they couldn't be purchased). The guide was very nice and gave us interesting stories, but mostly on the bus, giving us almost complete free time in Montserrat (even to the church at 1:30 PM – after a brief introduction in the courtyard, we entered on our own). People were disappointed because the miraculous statue is so high up that even when they walked up to the chancel, they could barely see it, and they didn't have a separate ticket, like my son and I, which cost only a few euros. Furthermore, we were supposed to go up by cable car (that was the offer), but we took the tram. And we had to return at 3 p.m. because "people wouldn't make it in time for dinner" (in the hotel where we stayed, dinner was until 9:30 p.m.), so we didn't have time to climb up, even by the shorter route.

Great experience, Albert was a great guide. Saw the sun come up and we beat the rush of people. It was a perfect trip for us to take in the Montserrat and get in a very lovely hike.

Reviews: Barcelona: Sagrada Família Tour with Skip-the-Line Access
Guest User2026-02-27
Marta was a great guide, she knew so much about the architecture and history of Sagrada. It was so easy to meet up with her and go to sagrada. Makes visiting easy and informative. 100% recommend if you are visiting Barcelona.
Reviews: Barcelona: Sagrada Familia Guided Tour with Tower Access

Highly recommended. What astonishing details inside and out. What architecture! Climbing the towers was also amazing. And of course, the full enthusiasm and explanation of everything by guide Omar. He keeps you speechless with his full attention and energy for an hour and a half.
Reviews: Amanohashidate Sandbar & Ine Funaya Village Tour with Optional Sea Cruise

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate 1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar → Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea. → Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side! 2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach" → Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing. → Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind. 3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets → Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800). → Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!
