Reviews: From Barcelona: Half-Day Montserrat & Horse Riding Tour

We were pleasantly surprised by the horses' condition. You can tell the owner cares deeply about them. The horses are doing great. Olivia, the tour guide at the Montserrat monastery, was excellent. Friendly and funny. Since the weather wasn't great at the beginning, we didn't get a view of the mountains while riding. It must be fantastic in good weather.
Reviews: From Barcelona: Montserrat Half-Day Wine and Tapas Trip
Guest User2026-01-19
Lesly, our Spanish-speaking guide, is very knowledgeable about the history and facts not only of Montserrat but also of Barcelona and its connections to the world. It's a shame that the tour didn't include the climb up to see the Moreneta (the Black Madonna) up close, only from the monastery benches below. I had to buy a separate ticket to go up and see it head-on. The wine tasting was also excellent; the guide is very knowledgeable about the wines, which were truly delicious and unlike anything you'd find anywhere else. She also recommended some delicious cheeses in Montserrat and suggested chocolates and breads to try and buy.
