I was delighted that this tour was led by our expert guide, Brother Zhang Hu. He was like a walking history book, providing detailed explanations of every historical site, building, and tree we visited. Traveling shouldn't just be a superficial experience; understanding the historical background and immersing oneself in the culture is far more important. Brother Zhang was incredibly attentive, resolving any issues quickly and effectively, and showing great care for each member of the group. I was extremely satisfied with this trip.★

It was a really good day trip in the Terracotta Army, Lishan gardens to see the Horse Chariots and then finished at the Huaqing Palace. Wang was really kind to go our pace, and also made a good recommendation for lunch break, and also tips for other places to visit in Xi'an. The driver was also really good.★

Our guide, Ruby, was excellent! She was kind, funny, very well informed and spoke great English. With her, we learned a lot more about the Mausoleum and Terracotta Warriors than we would have otherwise. We highly recommend getting her as a guide! Although there was a little discrepancy between the description here and her actual itinerary (lunch was planned with her, but not selectable here), this was very quickly clarified. Lunch was optional for 38 Yuan and the shows mentioned were booked by her quickly and without any upcharge. Transportation was organized quickly for everyone, even when the group split up after the main tour. We ended back in Xi'an by the Bell Tower much richer in experiences than when we started the day.★

We were picked up right on time. Our group was small, just the four of us, which made everything feel personal and relaxed. The driver was excellent: safe, smooth, and always on standby to take us from one attraction to the next without any waiting around. Then there was Qing Qing, our tour guide. On the way to the site, Qing Qing told us the story of China's first emperor and explained why the Terracotta Warriors were built. By the time we arrived, we already understood who Emperor Qin Shi Huang was and what drove his vision. Walking through the pits, Qing Qing added even more layers of history. We wrapped up the trip right on time after visiting the Huaqing Hot Springs. Overall, this was a wonderful, well-organized, and deeply enriching trip. Highly recommend Qing Qing to anyone wanting to truly understand the Terracotta Warriors – not just see them.
