Meet at meeting point: La Leona Waterfall Official - Catarata La Leona Oficial Liberia, Provincia de Guanacaste, Curubandé, 50105, Costa Rica Please meet us at the following location ( our office ) 15 min before your reservation time : Waze: https://waze.com/ul/hd1gkbx8r8 Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/Fmz8buAYsdfCZ4CJ7 We highly recommend using Waze over Google Maps. It works better in Costa Rica.Attractions and Activities: La Leona Waterfall (Ticket included) Let us know if you need transportation and we can quote you the service with a local driver from town. We have a private parking lot at our office in Curubande where you can leave your car safe while we do the hike. Our day starts at 8:45 AM / 10:45 AM and 12:45 PM by meeting in our office located 20 min north from Liberia downtown through the small villages of Colorado and Curubande. From Curubande we will take a 4WD for 1 km that will take us to the entrance of the waterfall trail and here is where the hike begins. The waterfall is well hidden away on the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano . The trail is 1.7 Miles (2.7 Kilometers) singletrack so together it is 6 km. There are some climbing to do in elevation and some caves to go across. Later to reach the waterfall we would have to swim 25 meters. 3 hr(s)
