Great tour overall, and David was a fantastic guide! The cave itself was really impressive and definitely a unique experience. However, there is one crucial detail missing from the tour description: the physical intensity. ​You have to hike a full kilometer uphill on a fairly steep trail just to reach the cave entrance, walk another kilometer inside, and then hike back up again on the way out. To make matters tougher, it started pouring rain during our climb, making the steep uphill trail quite challenging. If you have knee issues, lower fitness levels, or any health concerns, definitely think twice before booking. I was quite surprised by the level of trekking required, but if you are physically prepared for it, it’s a great trip!

Of course, the program was satisfying, but I really want to praise our guide, Tra (aka Jessica)! Since everyone in our group is introverted, it was a bit difficult to adjust to the tour, but she approached us first and helped us fit in! In particular, after the tour, one of our group members accidentally left their phone behind, and she found it and came all the way to us, even though we were 5km away. I was truly touched. Thanks to her, we were able to wrap up our trip beautifully! Thank you so much, Jessica! I was very satisfied with the Dark Cave tour! Men will definitely be satisfied if they try the Dark Cave!

Absolutely amazing experience!! The team was top notch - safety was a priority and I felt very secure and cared for in every activity. The food was incredible and the campsites were beautiful. The hiking and caves were unmatched, best in the world!!! Highly recommend. Shoutout to Seven and Tuan, our amazing tour guides!! Oxalis is the best tour company I’ve ever done a trip with. They thought of every little detail. Also sustainability was prioritized and all hiking and camping were done in an environmentally conscious manor.

Wow! What a fantastic tour!! We had such an amazing day. Started with walking through the spectacular Paradise Caves with our very interesting and informative guide, Ngoc (aka Nick, he is the best)! We were supplied with a traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river which was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Next stage was the boat ride to, and 1km into the Phong Nha caves. A truly surreal, beautiful experience. On the trip back we stopped and walked out to the mouth of the cave before the boat ride back to our starting point. This has been the highlight of our time in Vietnam so far. Highly recommend.

I received a call immediately after booking, and the support was incredibly prompt and helpful. The schedule was also very smooth. The transfer vehicle was brand new, making the journey very comfortable. The guide not only gave clear and precise instructions, but also shared many interesting stories about the cave, which captivated me. The moment I stepped inside, I was overwhelmed by its scale and deeply moved! The cave was cool and pleasant, and the scenery inside was breathtakingly beautiful. Furthermore, there were plenty of water activities such as kayaking and swimming, and the safety measures were thorough, allowing me to enjoy myself with peace of mind. The lunch after all that fun was hearty and very satisfying. Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience.
