Fascinating tour of mid-Etna 1690’s eruptions (craters), massive 1991 lava flow (Bola valley) , lava tibe. Tastings at end were nice and light lunch was even better. Our guide was enthusiastic, attentive and very knowledgeable. Beautiful flora too. While this tour doesn’t go to very active (at the time of our tour) lava fountains at top (compare with Hawaii Mauna Loa helicopter tours), it was way more interesting than Haleakala (Maui) summit.

Fabrizio was great - very informative, humorous and all round a great trip ! The lava tube was particularly interesting and so much better being on a small group with such a great guide

This tour is one of the few offered that's also great for children. Our 3-year-old had no trouble keeping up – and it wasn't boring for anyone else either. There are several stops to take in the views and take photos.


