Reviews: Day Trip: Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine from Krakow

Myself and my partner used Me shuttle in December 2025. We booked the day trip to auschwitz and the saltmine tour. We booked vies booking.com and paid £163 al in for both of us. This included being picked up from our apartment a packed lunch and drop off in the evening. Our guide was fantastic making sure everything was seamless at both sites. I could not fault this company at all they were amazing from start to finish we had a fantastic. I definitely would recommend them to anyone and would use the service again if back in krakow.

Pretty good. Guide was quite informative even though we had less interaction with them. Since we drove our own car. Still had to pay full price even though we did not use the bus or the hotel pickup. But other tickets were not available

A visit to the Auschwitz museum and labor camp, and the Birkenau extermination camp, is a must in life to become aware of the atrocities that human beings are capable of committing. It also makes us realize that, unfortunately, if we don't all take this into account, any politician in a powerful country could repeat this tragic chapter of human history. There are moments during the visit that leave you somewhat shocked, but I think it's not until hours or the day after the visit that you truly grasp the horrific mass genocide that the Nazis committed worldwide.

Knowledgeable guide who was able to share some intimate details of the poor plight of the Jews and prisoners who were interned in the camps. The day of our visit saw quite big crowds. As a result, we were unable to slow down in the tour and constantly asked to move from station to station to facilitate the crowd movements. It would have been perfect for those of us who wish to spend more time studying the information and authentic artefacts left behind for reflection and solitude.
