Magic Mike took us on a tour of Cap Malheureux, the botanical gardens, lunch in a local seafood restaurant , tour of the fortress in Port Louis and the waterfront including new and old markets. It is much more interesting and you learn so much more with a guide than if you drive yourself around. Mike was a great host and we learned a lot about the cultural, political and geographical history of Mauritius. Our son also bartered for a Mauritius football shirt in the old market and we bought some lovely fresh spices and fruit. Lovely day: just book.★

Such a huge place with so many informations! It could take the whole day for you to read and explore every corner of the sugar museum. We took the audio guide which is an app that you download via your phone. It leads you throught museum points explaining about Mauritius history, start od sugar production and impact on the social life. At the end od the tour you have a shop where you can taste whole bunch of different kinds of sugar and rum. Enjoy!
P.S. it is a perfect activity to do when its a rainy day★

Our guide told us a lot about the city's history and then showed us some really cool food spots. We were very happy with the tour and would book it again anytime. As other reviews have mentioned, you shouldn't necessarily eat breakfast beforehand, as there are plenty of food options along the tour.★

We were very satisfied. The local tour guide was very attentive, repeatedly confirming and explaining the itinerary on the day before our trip. The driver was also very enthusiastic and punctual, trying his best to meet all our requests along the way. He even took us to a delicious restaurant. We had a very pleasant day in Mauritius.★

My experience with a private car hire in Mauritius was excellent. The driver was responsible, skilled, knowledgeable about the routes and attractions, and easy to communicate with. The itinerary was well-planned, and he provided helpful tips and suggestions beforehand, which made for a very pleasant day trip! I highly recommend their day tours!★
