Reviews: From Brussels: Bruges & Ghent Day Tour - 2 Fairytale Cities
Guest User2026-04-07
I knew we were in good hands the moment we stepped on the coach. Stefan was a fantastic guide who blessed us with his knowledge of the history of Brussels and Gent. Once we were in Bruges, we split up into smaller groups and I was with Rita — another fountain of knowledge who guided us fantastically. Both Rita and Stefan made the trip worth it. They were both engaging and amusing, making it less about throwing loads of facts at us and more about making things interesting. Would definitely recommend!
Reviews: Bruges and Ghent - Belgium's Fairytale Cities - from Brussels

Certainly! Here’s a one-paragraph review: I recently joined a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent and had a great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of both cities. Highlights included visits to the Markt and canals in Bruges and to Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, with plenty of interesting stories and recommendations for local food along the way. The tour was well-paced and made exploring both cities easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get the most out of their visit to Bruges and Ghent.

We had a tour with Gio and loved it. In each city, they give you a guided tour followed by some free time. I don't think buying the boat tour is really necessary; it takes up some of your free time, and they explain everything the guide already covered. It's best not to buy it, and if you decide you want to, you can always buy the boat tour later in the city.
