Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with Urushil lacquer and gold, transforming damage into beauty. This workshop is designed for guests who would like to understand the history, philosophy, and techniques of authentic Kintsugi. Unlike many simplified workshops that break unbroken plates and repair them with chemical glue, this experience focuses on traditional methods and cultural meaning. We carefully prepare chipped or cracked ceramics sourced from antique markets and restore them up to the final stage in advance. During the workshop, you will complete the final process yourself by applying natural lacquer and sprinkling 23K gold powder. Your completed plate will be ready for collection in 5–7 days, or we can ship it to you.
