Reviews: Full-Day Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with 5 Hours at the Site (ENG/ESP/RUS Guided Bus)

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my guide, Maxim. He speaks Russian very well! He is excellent at organizing a group, tried to explain everything in detail, gave advice, and answered the group's questions. I recommend going to see the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China with this organization. Everything is clear and well-organized. Recommendations for tourists: *You can drive to this section of the wall on your own (there is a lot of information on the Internet), but if you don't speak Chinese and are new to this country (i.e., unfamiliar with their transport system), then it is better not to waste your time. This way you will get to the place faster; *thanks to the organizers, you won't have to stand in line for tickets, and if you don't know Chinese, this takes even more time; *I recommend choosing only one of the routes if you want to cover it at a leisurely pace (we chose the red route, and it was the right one; it offers magnificent views)! Thank you for the trip and a great mood!

It was a fuss free travel to Mutianyu! Maggie was very clear in her instructions... And was there along the way to ensure that we are not lost. Maggie also helped us get the tickets for the different routes for great wall.. Pick up point was also convenient. Would strongly recommend. Just note that this service is only for bus trip, great wall tickets are not included but they will help you buy in advance to save u the trouble!

It was an amazing experience overall. The guide Susan was amazing . She made sure the whole group met in the location to start the tour. She is quite passionate and knowledgeable. She took good care of the group and her English is quite good. As a group we felt like a family . It was great meeting different people . The tour was quite insightful and makes one just awe at the Chinese culture and history. Definitely worth it! Oh and I booked the trip same day which was a plus on short notice 🥰

Yonghe Temple is my favorite place in Beijing. I visit it every time I'm on a business trip. However, my understanding of it was limited to knowing that it was the former residence of the Fourth Prince before his death and later became a royal temple. This time, I brought my children and wanted to find a lecturer to tell them about the history of Yonghe Temple so they could learn more about it. I was very fortunate to meet Teacher Yu, who was extremely professional and dedicated. The Yong Prince's Mansion produced Emperor Yongzheng and later became the residence of Emperor Qianlong. Two emperors came from one mansion—what excellent feng shui! Later, it became Yongzheng's mausoleum and was used for royal ancestral worship. Since the six-year-old Living Buddha was brought here by Nian Gengyao, it has become the national temple of Tibetan Buddhism. The cultural relics here are priceless—I heard that during the Cultural Revolution, a regiment of soldiers was sent to guard this temple. As a national temple, it is indeed a national temple. The four Vajra guardians are seated, the nine-story pagoda is magnificent, and the giant wooden Buddha in the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, listed in the Guinness World Records, is 26 meters tall (18 meters above ground and 8 meters underground). It is said that the wood used to make the statue is about 15,000 years old, and it has stood for more than 270 years. There was also that enormous Thangka painting, its pigments made entirely from ground gemstones, and the thousands of scrolls of scriptures collected during the Kangxi era… each piece is truly priceless. Teacher Yu's professional knowledge flowed smoothly, and the children listened intently. As we prayed and listened to these profound historical stories, we were deeply moved. Thank you again, Teacher Yu, for allowing us to truly understand the Yonghe Temple.
