It just so happened that there was a flower festival parade that day, and our group of six had arranged two tuk-tuks. However, one of them was delayed by more than half an hour due to road closures and traffic jams, making the itinerary very rushed. In the end, we had to cut two attractions and barely finished by 1:30 pm. The travel agency should have found out about the possibility of road closures during the festival earlier and made arrangements in advance, so we wouldn't have wasted half an hour. Moreover, I think half a day is definitely not enough for this itinerary. Perhaps because I like listening to stories about historical sites, we spent more than half an hour visiting the first attraction, and another half hour eating durian and buying some fruit at the fruit market. We didn't have much time to see or take pictures at the attractions in between; it was really just a whirlwind tour. But our guide, Ah Tung, was quite nice and funny.★

I had a great time with guide Mr M who took me to several impressive temples in Chiang Mai city centre, the fascinating umbrella making centre and the unmissable Doi Suthep. Mr M provided interesting insights into each site and chose a great restaurant serving tasty local food for lunch. I also really appreciated his advice for the best positions to take stunning photos. I high recommend this tour.★

A Visit to Four Temples in Chiang Rai
In the morning light, the White Temple, pure white as a mirror, reflects a sacred glow, while the Bridge of Helplessness lies serenely beside the turquoise pond. The Blue Temple, indigo-washed with gold, resembles a deep-sea palace under the bright sun, its eaves chiming in the breeze. The Black Temple, with its forest of black wood, stands solemnly and mysteriously against the backdrop of greenery and sunlight. The tour only includes transportation; everything else is self-service due to the distance. You'll need to plan your own activities and activities once you arrive. There's no guide; you're on your own.
To take photos with the elephants, you'll need to buy small bananas (100 taels each) to feed them. Meals are also served to the elephants and are at your own expense.
