It was convenient and great to be able to quickly exchange tickets by showing a QR code at the airport bus terminal! The bus had good Wi-Fi and I could even recharge my card, which was great! It took about 50 minutes to get there and 40 minutes to get back, so taking the bus is the best way to get from the airport to downtown Taipei!★

It's all much simpler than you might imagine. I bought a ticket on trip.com, arrived at the port, and the person at the entrance immediately told me where to go for check-in. I handed over my passport, waited a bit on the seats, and then received my ticket. They called my name. Then they took my passport at passport control and returned it upon arrival in Koh Lipe. The trip itself took about an hour and 20 minutes. A very comfortable ferry!★
