Meet at meeting point: Arciconfraternita Della Misericordia Piazza del Duomo, 20, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy Your meeting point is in front of Museo della Misericordia, located in Piazza del Duomo, 19/20. Your representative will be waiting for you on top of the steps next to the Museum entrance, in front of Giotto's bell tower, holding a ‘Florence Duomo Guided Tour – City Wonders & AFTOURS sign.Attractions and Activities: Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore (Ticket included) Your tour will begin just in front of the entrance to the Duomo ticket office at Piazza di San Giovanni, where your guide will lead you passed the public lines and directly into the cathedral, thanks to our special no wait access. Upon entering the church, your guide will begin the story of this incredible feat of engineering that required a whole new process for its construction. Including how, after nearly 200 years of construction, architect Filippo Brunelleschi's innovative approach finally enabled its completion. In addition to learning the history of this magnificent structure, you will also view the beautiful details of its interior including elaborate marble floors, stained-glass windows, and beautiful frescos.
