Reviews: Rome Food Tour: Hidden Gems of Trastevere with Dinner & Wine

Rosalba was an amazing tour guide! She took us to local hot spots that she enjoys too! Learning more history about the area and various significant markings was a big highlight. She took her time explaining things to us and was willing to share about her personal life and upbringing.

As 5 adults we were very surprised at the amount of food we got along our tour! At the end we were all SOOOO full! Ramona was an amazing tour guide and took us to some great local spots we never could have found on our own!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. It took us through a part of Rome we otherwise hadn't seen, and covered both the Jewish history in this part of town, and some very interesting Roman ruins. Our tour guide, Arkaprovo, did a great job. He had a lot of energy although probably could stand to talk a bit louder, especially in crowded areas. He did not have as deep a knowledge base as some other tours we went on during our trip, but that hardly seems fair. He is a local student and we paid only 5 Euros each for this tour. Other tours we took were led by professional archeologists and cost a whole lot more. In terms of bang for the buck, this tour was great, and a fantastic way to close out our time in Rome.
