Wadi Shab in itself is very beautiful, so the walking and swimming offers you amazing views. Besides that our guide Mahmood took really good care of us throughout the whole day. I was even more impressed when I saw him collect garbage from Wadi. He explained to me that he and his colleagues do this every day. That is admirable from them, but sad that they have to do this every day. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of trash around, here and there. I encourage everyone to take your garbage with you and do not leave it in the nature.★

Absolutely outstanding trip, the sights were incredible and left feeling absolutely amazing. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Made all the more incredible by our outstanding tour guide Mohammed Aldighaishi. He was an absolute legend gave in great insights into the history of the area and all around elevated the trip to a brilliant level.
If you’re booking a trip in Oman THIS IS THE GUY YOU WANT! Such a nice bloke.
Can’t reccomend Gidoman and Mohammed Aldighaishi enough.

We participated in this tour today. Our tour guide, Abdullah, was incredibly friendly, caring, courteous, and understanding. From the hotel pick-up to the entire trip and the drop-off back at the hotel in the evening, everything went perfectly. We received a very warm welcome from Abdullah. He told us about Oman and the day's itinerary during the drive. The whole atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. We had a lot of fun and can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to everyone. Organizing this route independently would be much more complicated; thanks to Abdullah, everything went incredibly smoothly and without any problems. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat; it's more than worth the money! A huge thank you to our excellent tour guide, Abdullah. Thanks to this trip, we gained another wonderful impression of Oman. He showed us just how warm and welcoming the Omanis are!★

This day trip with Get Your Guide was fantastic. We were picked up from the hotel on time. It was quite a drive to Nizwa, but well worth it. What a unique landscape. Once we arrived in Nizwa, we visited a small part of the livestock market and then went to the Souq. It was different from what we're used to, but definitely worth a visit. A colorful experience.
Everything is within walking distance, so we continued our journey to the fort. Then we drove into the mountains. Wow!
You simply have to do this trip. Definitely no regrets afterward, but very tired.★

We started at 8am today! We headed to Wadi Shab first, we arrived got a boat taxi to start the hike. The boat taxi was only <4 mins. The hike itself would've been 40 mins. If you are not in good physical shape probably a lot longer. It is advisable to carry water with you. It can get upto 40C during the hike. There are small inclines but its advisable to wear good footwear as you can slip.
Once you see the wadi, there are a few pools you need to go through, some deep to see the waterfall in the cave. Note, during the swim, it can be quite slippery so its advisable to buy the footwear from the man near the boat. You can also buy a waterproof phone case for 2 Rial. You can also rent a life jacket from him. Highly advisable so you can take great pics and put less stress on your body.
I only got the waterproof case. I didn't get a lifejacket or footwear. I wore some Salomon X Ultra 04. Needless to say, yes photos are good. It's also just nice to be present in the moment.
I wouldn't recommend the cave for claustrophobic people. My parents stayed at the start and Amer from Oman Landscape Tours helped my mum so much which I was greatful for.
We then then went to the white sands beach and saw a family of crabs going into the water. We also went to the sinkhole where you could also go into the water.
Oman has a lot of amazing nature. It's just incredible!
I highly recommend Oman Landscape Tours and Amer. He was such a great tour guide. He helped my mother a lot!★

We highly recommend a tour with Khalid! We had very little time in Oman and he gave us a wonderful glimpse into this country's history, heritage and culture. Despite the itinerary being fairly packed, Khalid was patient and didn't rush us once - instead he prioritised the most important locations (Nizwa and Jebel Shams). He was kind, respectful and very knowledgeable. His driving was safe and he was clearly experienced with the zig-zaggy roads leading up to the breath-taking viewpoint on Jebel Shams.
