Reviews: Baden-Baden, Black Forest and Strasbourg Day Trip from Frankfurt

Scenic and informative tour a definite MUST SEE TOUR. Not only for the history but for the beautiful scenery. From the historic mineral hot springs of Baden- Baden, to the scenic views of the wine vineyard and altitude views of the Black Forest (1000 feet above sea level). Also to get to the Black Forest you will travel on the famous Autobahn. If you’re lucky to get Willy as your guide you will have an even more enjoyable experience. If you can only afford one trip this is it. It’s an all day event, and it is slowly paced so it is suitable for all ages and physically fit levels. From the hiker to the older senior citizens this is a can’t miss tour. 5 stars.

An absolutely unforgettable way to discover Strasbourg! Our guide Luka – a student and clearly a Strasbourg enthusiast through and through – made the tour truly special. She conveyed the history of Alsace with youthful enthusiasm and genuine passion, not from memorized texts, but from vivid, engaging stories. After a brief introduction, we immediately felt confident on the Segways – perfect even for beginners! We glided through the picturesque La Petite France district, along the Ill River, and past the impressive cathedral. In 120 minutes, we saw more of the city than we would in half a day on foot.

We had a pleasure to have Mohammed as our driver ( more of a driver than a guide ) who was extremely kind and professional. Particularly for being non fluent English speaker, it may not be always easy to do your tour guiding. He however tried his best and we had loads of laughs together. We stoped at few unplanned spots which was appreciated. It was a full on day, we left 9am and came back after sunset! ( huge traffic on the way back ) I’d recommend this to anyone, especially for solo travelers who see several villages in one go, as for those you need a car or rely on limited public transport. Also, I would suggest to think of wine tasting add on to this trip, maybe another 1.5-2 hrs additional time. Overall, fantastic experience.
