The Navy Underground Headquarters was a great and unique experience. The museum provides a lot of information on the Battle of Okinawa in both Japanese and English. They also have a collection of historical items found in the tunnels on display. My friends and I enjoyed are time here and we felt it was very educational. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking to visit a few historical sites while in Okinawa.★

You can choose your photos at the exit, and there's a QR code to download them (note: you need to download it within ten days). We did the morning tour, the sea was very rough, so we did witness some people throwing up on board! We saw one whale, however only the whale’s back from pretty far away. I think that must have been the only spot that morning, as around 6-8 other boats were also following the same whale alongside our boar.★
