YTP Tours did an excellent job flexing for me and my family! We were able to change a portion of our day tour at a moments notice. They accommodated us with no extra charge or hassle. Greatly appreciated! Recommend booking day trip with one city versus combination. Overall, the trip is good. I would not recommend cramming multiple cities into one day trip. The result is rushing through all the sides and rapidly ascending and descending up hills and small streets. Trying to rush to see everything. Highly recommend booking your day trip to one city at a time to get the full experience.
Reviews: Madrid: Segovia & Ávila Full Day with Alcázar & Wall Tickets

I enjoyed the tour and wished we started earlier to spend more time in Segovia and Ávila. The 11 am start time is a little late since it’s 90 minutes drive. You get about 30 minutes each in the Alcázar and the Wall. I did want more time in the Alcázar to read the placards since our guide didn’t go in with us to explain. You only need 15 minutes in the wall so we spent time looking at nearby shops. The hour lunch break in Segovia was great to try local dishes. I wish we had more time to explore Avila or arrived when more shops were open or had some free time. I would have loved time to visit the cathedrals. Alicia our guide was great and knowledgeable. She looked out for us on our trip and shared her wealth of knowledge. I had done research on places to eat and see so it made navigating things easier for me.
Reviews: Madrid: Avila and Segovia Day Trip with Tickets to Monuments

Beatrice was very knowledgeable and made learning and retaining history a fun activity. She is also very patient and takes care of all the clients needs. Eduardo is a good driver and the bus was very comfortable for long rides. My only disappointment is with the spotty WiFi on the bus. Other than that the trip was perfect.

Segavio is fantastic. Avila is less exciting. The motor coach was comfortable bit no eating allowed. Great value when compared with train tickets. The tour guide was nice but most of her speech was in Spanish and she spoke fast in English. Her value as a guide was marginal.

The guide made the day enjoyable and explained a lot about the history of the places we visited... Excellent! The tour is a good option if you have limited time, but both cities really deserve a full day... I'm sure they offer a one-day tour themselves... we didn't get to see them properly.
