Heng was our tour guide and was very professional and knowledgeable about Penang. We couldn’t ask for a more suitable guide. He was attentive to my dad’s need and adjust to our pace.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Penang Hill + Kek Lok Si Temple + Balik Pulau durian farm [Chinese/English-speaking driver and guide]
Guest User2026-09-18
This time, driver Xiao Cai took us around. The itinerary was very well planned, and he didn't rush us. He took us to many delicious places and explained a lot about the local specialties. If you weren't interested in the attractions on the itinerary, he would take you to other places. He even took photos for us. If you don't want to put any thought into planning your own trip, choose driver Xiao Cai – highly recommended!

Reviews: Penang Hill and (regular) cable car ticket + Kek Lok Si Temple half-day tour
Guest User2026-01-21
Like the Hong Kong cable car, the Penang Hill cable car climbs at a nearly 30-degree angle, offering beautiful natural scenery along the way. You can stay here a bit longer. Unfortunately, I only booked two hours. Just after leaving the cable car station, I encountered some adorable monkeys (I don't know their names), which cheered me up.

Reviews: 5 hr customized itinerary in Penang Island - Wat Chayamangkalaram - Dhammikarama Burmese Temple - Street murals - Independence group

Choosing a Chinese-speaking guide/driver was excellent. The guide's explanations of Penang and Malaysian culture were superb, helping my family better understand Malaysia's scenery, culture, and geography. They were also familiar with the roads and terrain, the time was well-planned, and the recommended lunch was satisfying. They even helped take group photos. Highly recommend this chartered tour! (Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si Temple)
