How to use
Your guide will be holding an Alternative Athens sign and your meeting point for your tour will be at the stairs located at the Zappeion Congress Hall. The closest metro stop is Acropolis (take the red metro line), exit Makriyanni/Aeropagitou. From there it is an 8 minute walk to get to the Zappeion Hall stairs. If coming by taxi, please request that the driver take you to Leof. Vasilissis Olgas 1, Athina 105 57. Please note that this is a pedestrian street and you may have to walk towards the entrance of Zappeion Hall if the taxi cannot access the street. Please make sure that you are at the meeting point 10 minutes before the starting time. The group will depart on time and those not present will be considered a no-show for which no refund can be made.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 3 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted before 01:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 50% will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 01:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 100% will be charged.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note
- This tour runs with a maximum of 12 participants and requires a minimum booking of 2 participants
- In the unusual event that the minimum is not met you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund
- Entry fees are not inlcluded and will need to be paid on site. A general admission ticket costs 10 euros, a reduced admission ticket 5 euros (students and over 65s). Children under 6 and those with disabilities and one person accompanying them have free admission
- You will be accompanied by a certified Sports Trainer
- This is a mild outdoor physical activity, you don't have to be an athlete to participate, you can do it at your own pace
- Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring water
