Michael was a very knowledgeable and kind tour guide. I enjoyed the walking route and the background stories. It was a cold day but we didn’t mind it. It was interesting enough that walking in cold weather didn’t matter but you should be prepared for the weather especially if it is grey day. My 12 years old child and my husband who are very much interested in the WW II loved it very much. I highly recommend Michael and his guide.★

Where ever we go visit we like to take a Hop-on-hop-off bus to give us an overview of what the city has to offer. It is a great way to sit back and enjoy the sights and get off if there is something you would like to enjoy close up. The directions and commentary in English was a bit difficult to understand and I recommend a correction in English to change saying "next stop" when you really mean "this stop!" We were listening for "next stop" for the English Gardens, but it was actually the prior stop, so we had to ride the bus again to get off where we wanted. Also, it was unclear which bus to take at the beginning. There seemed to be a mad dash to the buses, yet not until you got to the front of the line did you know if the bus was the right one or not.★

Thomas was a great guide. The tour was very well organized, informative and covered the necessary places we wanted to see in Salzburg. We had 3 hrs of free time to explore and do what we liked as well after the walking tour. The Christmas markets were excellent. We enjoyed the Sound of Music settings and Mozart’s home town very much. I highly recommend this tour from Munich.
