Reviews: Porto: 1 or 2 Boutique Wineries w/ Winery Lunch & 1-h cruise

Our guide, although he drove a little faster than we liked, was informative and sweet. The two wineries we visited were stellar and both had excellent staff and owners. The food in both wineries was delicious but the lunch at Efemia was particularly tasty. The boat ride was also a great way to get a different perspective of the Duoro Valley. It was a totally enjoyable day!

The tour was great, thanks to our guide, Pedro, who explained every location in detail, and it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience thanks to his professionalism.

Fantastic! The guides were very jolly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable in wine production and were very open to questions. The wine was virtually unlimited and food was very generous in servings. GREAT VALUE! Special mention for our driver and guide Jose who was very sensitive to everyone’s needs.

The Duoro Valley scenery is beautiful and there are a number of stops in between the bus tour including two winery visits with wine tasting provided. Tour guide Ricardo is funny and professional

The guide was very friendly, and his explanations and driving were excellent. This was the first year that Japanese participants participated, but he clearly explained the meeting point and other details, so we were able to enjoy the tour without worry! It wasn't a strict tour schedule, and they made sure to take their time, so it felt a bit like Portuguese time (even though the guide had to go back to his family for Christmas, he ended up going an hour longer than planned). It's best to leave some leeway in your schedule later on. We visited Porto during Christmas eve thus it was difficult to find such activities. we ran into this tour but slightly concerned holiday season. Even though holiday season, he (Victom?) and stuff in each site were so kind. Adding more, the guide was joyful and matured on the history of Portugal. We really enjoyed the traditional food(Porto, smoaked ham, Green wine, chorizo, bacalhau, arroz, traditional candy) and learned about Portugal deeply than expected before. If we had to say something caution, this is Portugal. People spend Portugal time. Therefore, enjoy porto having flexible schedule after the tour.
Reviews: Porto Wine & Dine: Port Wine Cave Food Tour with Eating Europe

Ribas delivered an exceptional food and wine tour that was the perfect start to our Portugal trip. We visited several wonderful dining spots and enjoyed an outstanding wine tasting and tour. Along the way, Ribas shared fascinating insights into the history behind the food and wine, as well as stories about Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia that truly enriched the experience. My husband and I highly recommend Eating Europe Tours—and if you’re lucky enough to have Ribas as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience. Thank you for making our first day in Portugal so memorable!
