I recently joined a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent and had a great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of both cities. Highlights included visits to the Markt and canals in Bruges and to Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, with plenty of interesting stories and recommendations for local food along the way. We met our tour guide in a very easy to find location. They constantly checked our groups names at different stages of the tour to make sure we weren’t missing anyone! Our tour guide was called Pablo who was very informative, humorous and attentive. He spoke both English and Spanish very well. Upon arriving in Amsterdam, we were surprised with a boat trip on the canals which was lovely and lasted one hour. This included Pablo speaking to us in both languages so that all could understand. We learnt lots of new things and had lots of recommendations on what to do in our 3 hours of free time in the city. Lots of history was explained to us as well as what the city is like now and why it is the way it is. Overall very good experience!
