Everything is on schedule. There's no point in arriving earlier than an hour before departure, as the office will likely be closed. It opens exactly an hour before departure.

We took a speedboat with a transfer from Ubud (it was cheaper than taking a taxi). The driver arrived on time and took us to the ticket office, where we helped get tickets. The speedboat departed on time, and the ride was about 40 minutes. I highly recommend it.


