Highly recommend this half day guide. Our guide Lisa was very knowledgeable and very organised on the day. She showed us around the whole of forbidden city and told us so much about every part, something we wouldn't have got just visiting ourselves. She took time to check on everyone's welfare and had plenty of time for questions about the palace or just china in general. Overall certainly worth booking as it just wouldn't be possible to experience as much, or learn as much about the forbidden city. Communication was spot on before the visit with Lisa arranging everything over wechat.★

The tour was really nice! The tour guide Susie was extremely helpful and positive, answering questions and explaining well the culture. The trip was as described in the itinerary - first going to the Mutianyu Great Wall and its stunning views (there is quite a bit of climbing, but there are also slightly more relaxed options). Then we went to the beautiful Summer Palace where we had the option to take a boat around the lake. Susie showed us all the important parts of the palace and even told us some small Chinese legends and stories depicted on some of the paintings. The place is truly beautiful and worth seeing! Enjoyable tour!★

Tour guide confirms the day before. Bus is clean and comfortable. Maggie clearly explained the details of the trip on the way to the Great Wall. Tickets for the cable or chair lift/sled are easy to buy on the bus but you need to use either Alipay/WeChat or cash. No credit card. Wonderful trip with Zanbus. Would highly recommend to use!★

It is very convenient for a family to make a day trip to Mutianyu, including tickets and shuttle buses. In addition, the tour guide on the bus will introduce the tour route and help buy the cable car ticket. It is very convenient to travel with ID cards.
The Great Wall is really wasteful legs, and the good man climbed the slope, but there are a lot of people in the enemy building on the 20th, and they have to line up and down.
The return journey must arrive a little earlier, and the train will be full.
