Logistics

No transport included. Check in 10-15 mins early at Love Ocean Workshop (1935 Suogang, Magong). Free shuttle to sea area only if needed—schedule fixed by Love Ocean.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds for:

• Personal cancellations after 17:00 prior day
• Flight/boat delays on activity day
• Late arrivals >10 mins (counts as no-show)
• Early exit due to personal reasons:Weather adjustments:Monsoon seasons (Mar-Apr/Sep-Nov) may alter/cancel trips. Light rain proceeds; heavy storms cancel. Cancel by 18:00 prior day if concerned.

1. activity issues

• Q: Can I participate if I can't swim? A: Yes, you can! As long as you meet the age requirements of the activity, we provide professional equipment and coaches for the activity.
• Q: Can I participate if I am afraid of seasickness? A: If you are prone to seasickness, it is recommended that you take seasickness medicine before the activity to avoid seasickness.
• Q: Can pregnant women participate in the activity? A: It is prohibited according to the law.
• Q: Can I cancel if I feel uncomfortable or have my period on that day? A: There is no refund if you cancel 0-2 days after the standard activity. If you are afraid of these problems, it is recommended that you apply for a refund during the free period or evaluate the use of tampons on your own.
• Q: Are there any age restrictions for the itinerary activity? Can young and old people participate? A: The recommended age for snorkeling and stand-up paddling activity is over 3 years old and under 65 years old. Even if you are over 65 years old, you can only participate after self-assessment of your physical condition and the store's assessment and consent, and you must sign a waiver.
• Q: Can the activity be carried out on a rainy day? A: As long as there is no heavy thunderstorm, normal rain will not affect the activity. The more important assessment of whether the activity can be carried out is the wind and waves in the sea, which will affect visibility and activity safety.
• Q: When will we be notified whether the activity is normal or cancelled due to typhoon or bad sea conditions? A: If the store determines that the activity cannot be carried out, it will usually notify the cancellation one day before. However, if it is still unclear, it will confirm whether the sea condition notification is normal on the day or one hour before the activity. If you are worried that the weather and sea conditions will affect the activity, you can also cancel the order two days in advance.
• Q: Are there other arrangements for tour participants who do not participate in the activity? Can they go to the sea with us? A: They can rest in our store or in the 7-11 50 meters in front of our store, or visit the attractions around our store on their own. They can also go to the sea with us (but it is not recommended in hot weather).
• Q: Is there a coach for activity? Will the coach give an ecological explanation? A: The snorkeling regulations are that 10 tourists are paired with one coach. Love will make adjustments based on the attributes and water ability of the group members, so about 6 tourists will be paired with one coach. The coach will give an ecological explanation, but the sea route set by each coach is different, and the scope and content of the coach's personal explanation will also be different.
• Q: Will there be photography activity? Can I bring my own camera? A: Photography is not included in the activity fee, but Love will prepare a camera for free to help take photos. However, each coach has different angles, quantities and aesthetics. If you want more beautiful photos, you can prepare a waterproof camera to take photos yourself or ask the coach to take photos for you.
• Q: How can I get the photos that Love Ocean helped me take? A: We will upload them to our FB fan page: Penghu Love Ocean Workshop in about 1~2 days.
• Q: Are there lockers or luggage storage? A: We have key-lock lockers and racks for luggage.
• Q: Is there a shower room? Is there hot water for showering in cold weather? Is there a hair dryer? A: We have both.
• Q: Do you have shower gel and shampoo? A: To save energy and reduce carbon emissions, protect the ocean and marine life, businesses in this area do not provide them.
• Q: Are there towels available for drying after washing? A: For personal hygiene issues, please bring your own towels or purchase Bath towel from our store.
• Q: What should I wear and bring with me when participating in the activity? A: You can wear a swimsuit, a jellyfish suit or other light clothing. You can also bring an extra change of clothing or a woolen Bath towel.
• Q: Can I bring my pet into the water? A: It is not recommended as it may affect the flow of the activity or other guests.
• Q: Can I apply sunscreen lotion? A: Sunscreen lotion contains benzophenone, which can seriously harm corals and cause bleaching and calcification. To reduce damage to the marine ecosystem, please do not apply it. If you are afraid of the sun, you can wear our matching cold weather clothing or prepare your own long-sleeved swimsuit or jellyfish clothing.
• Q: How long is the snorkeling time? A: Love Ocean adjusts the time based on the characteristics of the tourists and their water ability, which is about 50 to 60 minutes (from the start of the water teaching to leaving the sea area). However, for the elderly, the young or those with physical problems, considering safety and water problems, the limit must be around 30 minutes.
• Q: What can you see while snorkeling? Are there turtles and fish? A: Penghu is a subtropical sea area with a wide variety of corals and tropical fish. As for the species and quantity of ecosystems, there is uncertainty due to changes in weather, sea conditions, tides, or human interference.
• Q: Do I need to check in earlier for the activity? A: Please check in 10-15 minutes earlier than the start time of the timeslot.
• Q: Where is the check-in location? A: Penghu Love Ocean Workshop (No. 1935, Suogang Village, Magong City). Google Map can provide location guidance.
• Q: Can I add more people to the event? A: If the store has a coach to dispatch, it is possible to add more people on site.

2. Equipment issues

• Q: Are there any snorkeling/ diving Mask with degrees? How high? A: Our store has Mask with degrees ranging from 200 to 1200. If you are myopic below 200, you don't need a Mask with a degree, because using a normal Mask will magnify 100 to 200 degrees underwater.
• Q: Can I wear contact lenses? A: Yes. Q: Are there large and small sizes for winter clothing? A: Adult sizes range from XS to 5XL, and children's sizes range from L to XS.
• Q: What equipment will be provided for snorkeling? A: There are cold weather clothing, rubber shoes, life jacket, Mask and snorkels. Q: Can I bring my own equipment? A: If you have relevant equipment, of course you can bring your own, but everything must comply with safety regulations.

3. Traffic problems

• Q: How do I go to the Le Fu Ocean Workshop to register? Can you help me with transportation? A: Our tour fee does not include transportation. You can choose to rent a motorcycle/car or take public transportation/taxi to register at the Le Fu Ocean Workshop.
• Q: How do I get to the sea area from the registration place? If I take a taxi/public transportation/walk/bicycle or someone brings me to the registration, how do I get to the sea activity from the Love Ocean store? A: If you rent or bring your own transportation such as a car or motorcycle, the coach will lead you to the sea area. After registration, if tourists do not have transportation from our store to the recreational sea area, Love Ocean will provide free transportation, but the time and itinerary must be coordinated with Love Ocean.
• Q: Does Le Fu have a parking lot? A: Our store has open space for parking, and you can also legally park on both sides of the road outside the store.

4. The Undersea Mailbox Problem

• Q: What is the difference between snorkeling in the coral ocean garden and snorkeling in the underwater mailbox? A: The sea path will be different, and the ecological range seen will also be different.
• Q: Can I go to see the underwater mailbox when I snorkel at the Coral Ocean Garden? A: No, the route setting and the attributes of the participants are different, so it cannot be changed. Please know the activity you are participating in before signing up.
• Q: Can I see the underwater mailbox when snorkeling? A: I have divided the itinerary into the Coral Ocean Garden snorkeling and the underwater mailbox snorkeling. If there is a special underwater mailbox, you must book the underwater mailbox snorkeling according to your needs when you make a reservation in advance. However, the mailbox snorkeling is the first underwater mailbox established in Taiwan. It is an installation art. You can choose to go and see it without posting postcards, but everyone's aesthetics and curiosity are different, and expectations are also different. The sea path of the underwater mailbox is farther (about 300 meters) and the ecology you see may not be more diverse. Please consider it yourself if you choose this itinerary.
• Q: Can I dive into the underwater mailbox to drop a postcard by myself when snorkeling? A: According to regulations, you need to wear a life jacket when snorkeling, and the underwater mailbox is about 4 meters deep, so you can't actually drop a postcard by yourself. The instructor will help you dive and drop it for you. If you really want to drop a postcard by yourself, it is recommended that you sign up for the underwater mailbox diving.
• Q: Can I take photos with the underwater mailbox while snorkeling? A: The underwater mailbox is about 4 meters deep. Snorkelers with life jacket cannot dive and take photos with the underwater mailbox. Visitors can only float on the water and the instructor will take photos from below the water, but it depends on the weather and tides. If you really want to take photos with the underwater mailbox, it is recommended to sign up for the underwater mailbox experience diving.
• Q: Does anyone receive the postcards from the underwater mailbox? How often? Will they be mailed out? Can they be received? A: The underwater mailbox was established by the Penghu County Government Tourism Office and entrusted to the Suogang Community Development Association for operation and management. The community will entrust diving to receive and send, but how often they receive depends on the weather and sea conditions. Our store only sells postcards on behalf of them. Whether the postcards can be received on time is not guaranteed. Considering that the postcards may be lost during the activity, or the sea conditions and tides may take away the postcards, the management and personnel operations of the postal company, the mailing address and the environment of the destination, etc., there are too many force majeure factors, so we are not responsible for compensation. Please understand it yourself before purchasing.
