Reviews: Versailles Palace and Gardens Tour from Paris
Guest User2026-02-13
We were given Navigo cards at the meeting station and then all got on the RER. When we arrived, we were given tickets and entered through the group entrance. There was a long line at the general entrance, but we were able to enter easily through the group entrance, which was very helpful. We were given an audio guide for each room and had time to take photos. The explanations were very detailed. Once there were about two rooms left, we split up and went off to the gardens on our own. We saw the palace and gardens and arrived at 10:30am, departing around 1:30pm!

It was an amazing experience and I enjoyed the tour very much. I was later for my slot and they waited for me with no problem. I ended up having a private tour around the palace grounds. It was an amazing experience. Thank you Jana and Jon.
Reviews: Versailles Full Day Bike Tour with Palace, Gardens, & Picnic

Erik was our tour guild he ROCKED. Very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and funny. The bike tour of the property was WAY worth it and better in my opinion than the castle itself. The market is fabulous. Erik gave LOTS of good info to take or leave and really good food recommendations. The picnic lunch was outstanding. Just trust me book this tour!!!! Super fun day

Liz was a great guide. Axel was a very safe driver as well. Beautiful scenery driving from Paris to Givereny. The house and gardeners are fabulous. Very quick trip though so if you plan to go to town take a full day tour.

Reviews: From Paris: Versailles & Louvre Guided Tour
Guest User2025-09-28
This was an all day 8-hr guided tour of both Versailles and the Louvre, with transportation provided. We met our guide Isabel at the Paris TRIP Tours office, and she drove the 6 of us to Versailles in a comfortable van. Isabel was a great guide, providing alot of interesting commentary about Paris, and historical background on Versailles. She was enthusiastic and clearly loved her job! Even though the weather was wet and rainy, we went outside later to tour the beautiful and impressive manicured gardens. After this part of the tour ended, we were driven back to the Paris TRIP Tours office, and were given about 90 minutes to get lunch. We returned to the office and had to wait for a driver to take us to a drop-off spot, where we waited for another guide for the second part of the tour. We were finally met by our Louvre guide who took us into the museum. The Louvre is massive and quite crowded, and this part of the tour seemed very hectic. For the cost, we expected a better experience.
