Reviews: Tanjung Aru Beach 2.5-Hour SUP Experience in Kota Kinabalu | Sunrise/Sunset Paddleboarding with Beginner Lessons
Guest User2026-01-21
It was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. Upon arriving at the beach, our guide provided English language guidance and a paddleboarding lesson. Afterwards, we entered the water, where our guide took photos of each of us individually, and we were free to paddleboard freely. The scenery was truly beautiful, and I loved how passionately they took our photos. However, if you don't choose the pick-up service, you'll be picked up at DBKK CAR PARK in Tanjung Aru. Be careful not to confuse it with DBKK PARKING!

The stand-up paddleboarding experience at Tanjung Aru Beach was fantastic, lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Both the sunrise and sunset views were beautiful. Everything was very well organized. The pick-up and drop-off service was punctual and reliable. Our guide/driver was excellent. Special praise goes to our instructors, several outstanding young women! They patiently taught and demonstrated the correct techniques, constantly encouraged us, and even took many wonderful photos for us. The entire experience was very reassuring and enjoyable. Furthermore, the facilities were excellent, with showers and changing rooms, and all necessary equipment was provided. I definitely recommend this activity! Reviews: Morning Session | Mari Mari Cultural Village Tour + Big Prawn Laksa Lunch | Join-In Tour

It was a truly blissful tour. First of all, the facilities were of excellent quality, and the nature was beautiful. It wasn't just a tour of the Folk Village; it was all hands-on, which was incredibly enjoyable. The traditional foods we sampled here and there were delicious, and we were free to experiment, like playing instruments or climbing up the structures. At the end, we watched a performance and got henna applied. All the staff were so energetic and fun, which was truly enjoyable. Above all, the guides were friendly and fun. And they were handsome! The Folk Village staff were also cheerful and kind. I think it would be a great place to go with friends! It was such a fun experience. Oh, and for lunch, we had laksa, a rich, green curry-flavored soup. It was delicious!
Reviews: Afternoon Session | Mari Mari Cultural Village Tour + Big Prawn Laksa Lunch | Join-In Tour

I took a lunch from the afternoon and a tour of the Marimari Cultural Village. Laksa was also delicious and arranged something that was not spicy for children. The tour contents of the Marimari Cultural Village were very good, and I was really glad I went. However, it seems that there was a miscommunication between the tour company and the Marimari Cultural Village, and it is said that the high tea that should be at the end of the Marimari Cultural Village is not included. It was said that it was included, and I changed two times in the second half. I was going to eat when I was checking the contents of the tour, so I told him I wanted to eat because I would pay an additional fee. As a result, it was said that it was incorporated into the original 々 tour, so it was good because I was able to enjoy it without additional charges, but it was not a very good impression that the explanation changed two times. The high tea was very good, so I think it's better to participate after checking in advance whether it's included in this tour.
Reviews: SSI Open Water Diver Course - 3-Day OW Diving Certification in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
Guest User2025-05-07
The world under the sea is so wonderful! This dive test can see the wreck and dive to see the coral. Here is the recommended reason. 1, feel safe. The reason for choosing SSI at that time was one-to-two, which gave people a more adequate sense of security than a pair of four. Very lucky, during this class, the master's master also came together and became one-to-one, and the sense of security was very sufficient. 💪 2. Communication by the way, trustworthy Before departure, the coach will pull the WeChat group, and the reply in the group is very formal and written, which makes people afraid that 😨 is like a robot reply. However, I went to the offline and found that the coach's Mandarin was very good, and the coach would also speak Cantonese Hakka. The communication was smooth, and my friends and I trusted him very much. 3. Encouraging education During the interactive teaching process, the coach asked how much nitrogen accounts for the air. I said 78%, and my friend said 72%. The coach did not directly deny friends, and 72% was the proportion of land on the earth. In the practice process, it is also actively encouraged, and it is also a good thing to make mistakes during the learning stage. This is a small detail for praise. 👍
