On our first day in China, we had no idea what to expect from authentic Chinese cuisine, but this tour exceeded every expectation we had. Andy guided us through an incredible tasting experience, introducing us to a variety of dishes across several local restaurants — each one absolutely delicious. We were looking for something different from our usual meals, something unique to Beijing, and this tour delivered exactly that. The chilly weather made the warm, flavorful dishes even more enjoyable, and Andy’s choices felt perfectly planned for the day. We had an amazing time and would definitely book this tour again the next time we’re in town. Highly recommended!

Doing this trip during the winter was so worth it- there was almost no one else at the Jinshaling section of the wall when we were there! If it is snowy/icy, I wouldn't recommend going to Jinshaling though as it will be too slippery (there were some steep climbs). The driver was there on time to drop us off at the wall and was there again to take us back. One thing I would say is that you do NOT get a guide with this tour, basically just a driving service- I thought that wasn't very clear on the description. Everything else was great, no complaints 👍
