Reviews: Tulum: Suytun and Ikkil Cenote, Chichen Itza & Valladolid

Overall, a pretty nice excursion, it's just a shame there's so much travel time before arriving and returning. Here's how it goes from Tulum: you take a minibus that takes you to Playa del Carmen, picking up and dropping off people along the way, then you wait for another bus (over 30 minutes for us, and it was almost full) before you finally leave for Chichen Itza, arriving around 11 am. The visit itself is enjoyable, and the guide is engaging. The visit to the IK Kil cenote is magnificent but too short (you have to queue for the changing rooms, lockers, life jackets, and to go down into the cenote). I'm still glad I was able to do this excursion; the bus is comfortable with a toilet, and the guides are attentive.

Honestly I have to say that this was absolutely amazing experience. Our tour guides Maria (Mimi) was so passionate, knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The whole tour was so well organised. There was nothing to improve. Everything was perfect.

A truly beautiful excursion! They took us early so we could enjoy the monuments before it got too hot. They gave us explanations, showing us pictures of the buildings in their natural state. Then they took us to cool off in a cenote before lunch, which was an all-you-can-eat buffet that was absolutely delicious. Typical local products were expertly prepared, and there was a great variety to choose from. Afterward, they took us to another, more secluded cenote where there was no one else, and we could swim freely. A big thank you to the minibus driver, Axel, and the guide, Andres, for looking after the group at all times and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this company to anyone who can; you won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing day with Alonso! We booked the private tour for our family of 6. The van was nice, comfortable, and roomy for everyone to stretch out for such a long day. Alonso was so accommodating and tailored the tour at the ruin to the needs of our young children. The restaurant was delicious! And the cenote was absolutely beautiful - we had it all to ourselves for sometime. Alonso's tour was educational and fun. I highly recommend booking this tour!!
