We were staying in in Asahikawa and our tour guide Rii was wonderful in facilitating us being able to join and leave the tour . She was very helpful throughout the trip and was definitely one of the highlights in our booking.★

We had a wonderful day trip! We booked a day in advance through the Trip.com mobile app, and although we weren't departing from Sapporo, thanks to excellent communication and understanding, we were able to join the group at Asahiyama Zoo on time. Our guide, Sophia, was incredibly attentive, communicating in Japanese, English, and Mandarin to ensure everyone understood the itinerary.
We had ample time to explore and take photos at each attraction. One pleasant surprise was the unexpected opportunity to see the Biei Christmas tree up close, something we had originally planned to only view from the bus. Thanks to Sophia and the driver's on-site assessment, the entire group was able to get off the bus for photos!
Speaking of the driver, he could also communicate with us in Japanese and Mandarin. Since our hotel was located in Asahikawa and we weren't returning to Sapporo by tour bus, the guide and driver even checked the public bus schedules after New Year's Day to understand any special changes and arrangements. Their meticulous and patient service made our experience even more enriching.
At Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls, Sophia's explanations gave us a deeper understanding of these beautiful places. Heartfelt thanks to Trip.com for the arrangements, and to Gogoday for the day trip that added such unforgettable moments to our Hokkaido trip! 😄🙏★

Our Chinese-speaking tour guide was from mainland China (Sister Bingbing). The meeting point was easy to find. The zoo was given a fair amount of time for a day trip, but it was just so much fun, and with lunch included, we felt the time was insufficient. The snowmobiles were really fun, and the snow at Shikisai-oka was perfect for snow activities. The guide also recommended the bakery next to the Fairy Terrace; the bread was absolutely delicious. Because the return trip to Sapporo took a while, we only had time for a short visit to the Fairy Terrace. Exploring all the shops on the terrace would take quite a bit of time. However, for just browsing and taking photos, the time was enough! It was my first time on a day trip, and I had a wonderful time. The beautiful snowy scenery along the way was truly breathtaking, especially for someone from my country who rarely sees snow!★

Very fun day! Our main goal was to see the penguins, and they were very cute. Our guide Oscar was very lively and fun to listen to, and his English is very good! I also loved seeing the photos at Takushinkan. Unfortunately we couldn’t stop for meals but the schedule and location changes were fair given the weather (so snowy!). Hopefully we can visit Furano and Biei again during the lavender fields season :)★

For my experience in December, this is not a 'guided tour' in the traditional sense (there isn't a guide providing commentary on history or sights during the drive). However, it is a perfect option for those looking for seamless logistics and comfort. Highlights: - Organization: I received the detailed itinerary the day before, so I knew exactly what to expect. - Transport: The vehicle was very clean, modern, and particularly comfortable for the long stretches between sites. - Driver: Our driver Chen was highly experienced and professional. He dropped us off right at each location (Asahiyama Zoo, Biei, Ningle Terrace) and was very clear about the meeting times for pickup. This is an ideal setup if you want to explore these beautiful locations at your own pace without worrying about driving or navigating public transport. Thanks Chen !★

Like the tour arrangements. The driver welcomed us at the hotel with a name sign. Although the private tour was a bit pricey, the driver and the vehicle made a worthy spend. I like the tour schedule arrangement. Just a little short in staying at Farm Tomitas.
