Reviews/Trip Moments

Reviews: Guided tours at the Palace Museum (excluding admissiom tickets)

A huge thank you to Séverine for this tour of the Forbidden City. Séverine is very professional, her directions to the meeting point were crystal clear, she is very attentive, and she anticipates her clients' needs. She speaks perfect French and has a deep understanding of Chinese civilization, which she conveys with great clarity. The tour impressed us with the richness of the monuments and the details provided by Séverine, which brought them to life. Thank you again to Séverine and the team for allowing us to return home filled with wonder.
Reviews: “Sip, Savor, and Behold: The Magic of Peking Opera”
Guest User2026-01-01
Show was great, organization is weak. Mostly not translated for English speakers. At some point we thought we are at kids animated party. But when actual opera began it was very nice and interesting. Actors, costumes, singing were stunning. We booked a ticket with tea and snacks, actually seated in regular second row theater seats. And actual performance was not in the place the photos are presented here in description.
Reviews: "Experience the Magic of Peking Opera in Beijing!"

This was lovely. The rows of seats are a bit narrow, so it's hard to get past people. Also, the back seats are a bit loud with kids, so I recommend springing a little extra on a premium seat. But that's where my complaints end. This was a phenomenal experience. The actors are full of vigour, the performance was exhilarating, the stage effects and visuals were a feast for the eyes. I would recommend this 100%.
Reviews: Royal Cuisine - Imperial Banquet

This event is a must-see for tourists! We loved it! During dinner, a wide variety of dishes from the menu of Chinese imperial dynasties are served. Everything is delicious and unique! The show is amazing: colorful, musical, and magical! I recommend buying front-row tickets for personalized food service and the attention of the performers. We were in the second row: we had a good view, but the atmosphere was lost.
