This is a review of our Kyoto and Nara tour with guide Chuhong! 🤭 The tour was conducted in Korean, which was convenient, and the detailed explanations at each stop from the beginning were incredibly helpful. We also received KakaoTalk messages informing us of the tour's ending time and a Google Maps KakaoTalk message with parking information during our free time. The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.★

When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense! My trip to Osaka was wonderful, and these memories will stay with me for a long time!
