Reviews: Porto: Fado Concert in Porto's Most Beautiful House
Guest User2026-02-13
We loved this experience and would highly recommend it. Set in a charming music room of an historic house, we benefited from an intimate performance by Claudia and her two accomplices. The quality of their respective performances were far beyond our expectations and their enthusiasm and engagement with the small (10 person), multicultural audience was delightful and amusing. Along with the music we were treated to a generous glass of tawny port and a welcome pastis de nata. Claudia's voice reminded me of a plaintive Edith Piaf and enabled us to feel both the highs and lows of a Fado. This did not feel like a standard 'tourist' performance. It was much more.
Reviews: Porto: Intimate Fado Show & Port Wine in Trindade Noble Hall
Guest User2026-02-20
It was a pleasant experience, especially suitable for a first introduction to fado. It would be better to write that the entrance to the hall is to the right of the church entrance. Otherwise, it's hard to find.
Reviews: Waterfall, Lagoon and Old Village in Peneda-Gerês National Park
Guest User2026-01-18
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, particularly if you’re on your own! Our tour guide was Diogo, he was very good at making conversation and helped us learn a lot about life in the national park. The fact he had a strong relationship with the local people meant they were happy to show us their local traditions. Overall a great day, thank you!
Reviews: Porto: 3 Douro Valley Vineyards Tour with Lunch
Guest User2025-12-10
Despite the rainy and fog we had a fabulous day. Sarah was an amazing and fun guide. The first vineyard was informative and cosy with 4 wines and some pairings. The second winery had really lovely views and lots of autumnal colours. The final winery had a meal with wine and then a port tasting afterwards.
Reviews: Santiago de Compostela Full-Day Tour From Porto
Guest User2026-02-17
Our guide Carlos was great, enthusiastic, having a great energy, and gave nice recommendations. He showed us a different aspect of the country about history, cultural and the society. We enjoyed the trip with the small group and happy to glimpse Santiago in a day.
