Even if it weren't for this tour, you absolutely must go to the Chimei Museum!!!! We went with our family, and when everyone said, "Where was the best place in Kaohsiung?", it was the Chimei Museum... The building and the walking course were sooooo pretty..ㅎㅎ Even if you don't go in, the walking course was so pretty, and there's a coffee shop inside~ You need cash because the two must-visit places definitely collect money. I think it was 250 NTD per person. And most places you go during lunch time only accept cash, so bring cash~~ The guide was Korean, and he was very kind and gentle~ But when I took a Grab with Formosa Boulevard Station Exit 6, it only showed Formosa Boulevard Station. The driver said Exit 6 wasn't allowed or something... If you happen to end up getting off at Exit 2 like us, don't panic, just go inside to the underground station and get off at Exit 6.★

Bruce was my private tour operator and he was fantastic!
He was very friendly, open and gave me lots of time to move at my own pace. I've got a leg injury which means I have to walk with a cane sometimes, and he was always really accommodating and thoughtful.
He also tailored the visits according to what I expressed interest in, and reminded me to take breaks. His recommendations were always really good, he even passed on some food and places to visit!
I highly recommend Bruce and this tour to anyone that wants to take it! Wouldn't have seen the monastery, parts of Kaohsiung and this area of Taiwan in any other way, I really enjoyed my time!★

For the rafting do the 7km at least. It really goes fast. But they do expect you to pay a lil more for it. The rafting guides are awesome and fun. And our guide Hannah was awesome and the driver she had for us was awesome also homie made sure we got places early and fast. The lunch was nice. The crackers and homemade jam the older ladies made was awesome though!
