I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. After purchasing, remember to exchange it for a physical card at the designated location. I exchanged mine at Salzburg Central Station, in the tourist information area. Look for the green "i" sign (not the QBB sign). It's located to the left of the QBB service area facing the stairs; it's in an inconspicuous spot. After exchanging, remember to write the date on the card to activate it. The staff will ask where you're from and provide you with tourist information in appropriate text.★
