Ho Chi Minh City Trip Review - Day 2 Today we set off in the late morning, heading to a small coffee shop called The Provincial Table. We weren't just going to have one cup of coffee, but four each! And not just any ordinary coffee, but a coffee-making class! In Vietnam, one thing you hardly need to look for is a coffee shop. My husband and I counted at least one hidden within 20 steps of a street. So, since we're in the city of coffee, we might as well learn how to make coffee properly. There were about 17 people in the class today. I was a little embarrassed because there were only 5 men, the rest were women. The instructor was very detailed, teaching everything from choosing coffee beans to measuring techniques. We made four different coffees: Vietnamese egg coffee, coconut coffee, milk coffee, and iced coffee. Each had a unique flavor. Learning, having fun, and enjoying the delicious coffee – this is truly the joy of travel for people like us! The class lasted two hours, but it felt like it went by in a flash, perhaps because we were having so much fun.

I booked on both arrival and departure. For arrival, it seems only slightly faster than general queue line probably due to early morning landed at the airport around 8 am. For departure, yes, it is significantly faster than general queue. But you still need to go into another queue line (join with other) for security screening. Unless you buy a super vip fast track which will have different queue line for security screening.

My wife and I were very grateful to have booked this VIP Fast Track service. Even with fast track, it still took us around 30–40 minutes, so I can only imagine how long the regular immigration line would have taken. The queue was extremely long, and I believe it could easily have been more than 2 hours. Definitely worth it, especially for international arrivals in Ho Chi Minh City. It saved us time and made the whole arrival process much less stressful.

The process was really quick, despite the obligatory line and bag drop. Afterwards, customs took only 5 minutes. We walked through a separate corridor from the main line.
