Reviews: Cape Town: Robben Island Boat Trip & Museum Tour Ticket
Guest User2025-09-11
Our tour unfortunately started an hour late. We also had an older ferry, which meant the trip to Robben Island took an hour instead of 30 minutes. Upon arrival, several buses were waiting for us, each with its own guide. Our guide told us the story of Robben Island in a very humorous and interesting way, frequently incorporating the nationalities of the visitors. He was very easy to understand. After the bus tour, we visited the prison block with a different guide. Unfortunately, he wasn't as easy to understand, so we didn't fully grasp his story about the prisoners. Nevertheless, he was very friendly. You should plan a full day for the tour. Including waiting time and transfers, it took us six hours.

We had an excellent experience thanks to the professional team's expert supervision and guidance. The driver was extremely friendly and kind, and the guides shared a wealth of fascinating information throughout the trip. We visited every planned stop and enjoyed the journey immensely, all while ensuring we did not disturb the inhabitants of the Atlantic Ocean.
