Reviews: Soweto: Walking Tour with a Local Guide and Lunch
Guest User2026-03-01
The day was wonderful. We went with the local guide Maweza, an extremely knowledgeable man about the region and the history of his continent, and passionate about his land. We couldn't take 100 steps without being greeted by someone on the street. I went with my partner, a friend, and my 3-year-old son, and we felt genuinely connected to the place and its past and present history. We made a great journey through social and geographical issues in a lighthearted way. A highlight was the warm hugs from the children and the greetings from the local people. I recommend it to every Brazilian who comes from the periphery and can recognize the joy we inherited from our motherland.

Thank you, Ayanda, for the incredible tour. You gave us a truly unique insight into the different neighborhoods. We felt very well looked after and, above all, safe. Thank you for sharing your passion with so much heart and soul. It was a celebration.
