The itinerary was very relaxing. The guide was engaging and welcoming and made it feel like a big family trip. Ha long bay was breathtaking and the overall experience was excellent. Went on the speedboat, the amazing cave. Also loved lunch. I would definitely book this again.

We booked the 3-star tour for our Ha Long Bay excursion, and it was absolutely excellent and well-organized from start to finish. The experience far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Tung, was fantastic—humorous, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the day both fun and informative. The boat itself was a highlight: modern, spotless, and clearly well-maintained. We noticed it stood out compared to others in the marina. It felt genuinely luxurious, featuring reclinable chairs on deck and even a jacuzzi. The seafood lunch on board was fresh and the service was great throughout. While drinks were not included, they were reasonably priced for a tourist attraction.

Brilliant day which was expertly handled by Lyn and the driver. It's a long, but a very worthwhile day. We parked at the lunch place then got our bikes for a nice little cycle along to Hua Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. After this visit we cycled back to have a really delicious buffet lunch - a lot of choice and very tasty. Afterwards we headed to our boat trip, which serenely took us through a couple of caves / openings. The views were really lovely and the boat rowers generally use their feet on the oars, not their hands - it's quite something to see! After this we headed to Mua Cave, which is not an actual cave but a mountain to ascend for fabulous views of the river you have just taken a boat trip along! Be warned - it's a hard climb that takes in 500 steps up, then 500 back down again! The views were fabulous - but you'll need to be prepared to sweat!! After this activity we headed back to the coach for our return to Hanoi. It was a really good day.

Thank you to our local tour operator, Toby; his online service was attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. Our guide, Veiley, was very gentle, took excellent care of the group, and was multi-talented. The entire trip, from airport pick-up to drop-off, was seamless and smooth. The activities were plentiful, and shopping was scheduled during the driver's rest time, with no forced shopping and no disruption to the itinerary. The tour bus and cruise ship were both comfortable, and the lunch buffet was delicious. The scenery was beautiful, the scenic areas were clean, and we had a great time. The value for money was truly excellent. Thank you.


