This was such a great experience, for two out of three of us it was our first time at this exhibit. The tour guide met us and handed us our earpieces, and we were able to easily navigate entrance in the tour process with them. I definitely recommend going this route for first timers! ★

There was a lot of scaffolding. The bell tower was completely covered on the top floor, and we didn't know it. It's very difficult to understand the different names and access points for the monuments in question. We thought we would have access to the dome, but that wasn't the case because we hadn't properly understood the description of the excursion. Clearly, many tourists also misunderstood.★

It wasn't a fast track ticket; we had to wait in line for about an hour to get in! However, the guide really did their best to explain everything in an entertaining way, so the waiting time wasn't difficult or boring at all!★

Our tour guide for the Duomo, Veronica, was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning from her. We purchased the optional Uffizi, Pitti and Boboli pass and were told to go to the Uffizi first(the day after the Duomo tour) as we needed to have our ticket validated there and that we would then be issued with a 5 day pass to see Pitti and the Boboli gardens. Unfortunately, nobody seemed to know what we were asking for when we mentioned a ticket for a 5 day pass. As it turns out, there is no need for an additional ticket to be issued as the one that was emailed was valid for 5 days. Perhaps the instructions around this need to be clearer. The Boboli Gardens were sadly a waste, as the artwork was undergoing reconstructive work and everything was covered by material and scaffolds so we couldn't see much.★

Debbie was an excellent tour guide; friendly, funny, engaging & extremely knowledgeable & passionate about art history & the history of her home city, Florence, & the Medici family. Easily the best tour we’ve attended. Debbie wove the history of the Medici family, the history of Renaissance art & the history of the city together & brought the city alive. She also explained about the food of Florence & Tuscany, an integral part of life in the city. I left with a far better insight into this beautiful city, its people, culture, architecture, food & history.
