Everything was wonderful, but the guide is worth mentioning 💯❗ It was a unique experience, and the guide is a true encyclopedia of what Etna means. Santi, thank you for a wonderful day on Etna!

Great value for money. Alessandro was a great host. Pick up point was really clear. I have an ankle injury, so couldn't do any of the big hiking, however I did do one of the craters nearby called Silvesrteri (excuse spelling), which was manageable for my injuries.

We really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of our guide Gaetano, as well as the information he shared about Mount Etna.
Reviews: Malta: Mount Etna and Taormina Guided Day Trip by Catamaran

The tour guide was a woman who spoke perfect English and was very friendly. The time spent in Catania was too short, while the time spent at Mount Etna was too long. The bus was incredibly cramped and completely unsuitable for anyone over 1.80m tall. We were left very much on our own at the beginning of the tour. I had to call the tour operator to find out that we wouldn't be met until we reached Sicily.
Reviews: Etna excursion to 3000 mt. with cable-car and jeep 4x4

Amazing day and made special because we hiked through snow. Our guide Tiziana was fantastic and made sure an older member of the group was looked after. We thought it fantastic value for money for equipment and guides. Gondola is extra but clearly not the tour companies cost.
Reviews: Catania: Etna Morning or Sunset Trek with Lava Tunnel & Gear

Amazing tour! We hiked among the many craters of Mount Etna with breathtaking views. It feels like you step into another world. During the hike, we received explanations about the fauna and flora on Etna, as well as the volcano itself and its eruptions/lava. Super interesting and definitely a great addition if you want to learn more about Etna. At the end of the hike, you can ‘walk’ down a steep slope, where your feet sink 30 cm into the black (lava) sand, which was a fun way to finish! Afterwards, we went to a lava tunnel further up and received another explanation about the ins and outs. All in all, definitely worth it! Great tour guides who use some humor and still manage to explain things in an interesting way.
