Reviews: Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid Tour with Tequila and Lunch

Kevin, the guide, and Gabriel, the driver, were extremely personable. Kevin was super knowledgeable and brought an element of humour to what is a long day to ensure people remain engaged. Special thanks to him for sharing such wisdom, ensuring we were satisfied with the tour, and giving some extra pointers on every stop. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico! Thanks again

I booked the tour through *** and chose the Hotel Pick up option for us. The day before the tour the time for pick up and all the details was confirmed. On the tour our guides were Martin, Norma and Eduardo who was wonderful through out the tour. Martin was very knowledgeable on the mayan history and explained all the details when visiting all the places. Highly recommendchosing this tour

amazing. if you’re a solo female traveller, GO!! You meet so many people on this tour and everyone was lovely, particularly our tour guides rafael, eduardo and hugo. the people i met i made plans with after this tour. Hugo kindly answered my questions and educated me about the civil war between the spainards and mayans.

Our guide was the best! Always friendly when he would see us and would interrupt his conversations with locals to wave or chat with us. He did a great job of speaking in Spanish and English. Locals loved him and other tour guides too. I was very happy with the AC in the van and the water. All three places were worth the drives - it is so hot in Mexico (March) and I needed those times to nap!

The itinerary was fine, and the tour guide's explanations were detailed. However, due to the tour guide's negligence, we almost couldn't go. We arrived at the meeting point 15 minutes early, and when the bus arrived 10 minutes past the scheduled time, we asked the tour guide twice, but both times he said our names weren't on the list. After repeatedly confirming with photos of the bus and our WhatsApp contact information, the bus was already driving away. We had to manually stop it and thank passersby for their help before the tour guide finally found our names on the list. This kind of negligence was simply outrageous.

The journey is long; the Qiqin Scenic Area is very large, and the round trip takes about 6 hours by car, but the scenery is truly beautiful and spectacular! This tour is great value for money 😊 It even includes a buffet lunch, perfect for someone like me traveling alone~ If you have a larger group, I'd recommend hiring a car, otherwise the long journey can be quite tiring.
