Mr. Chen's explanations were both insightful and logical. He didn't rush to conclusions, but rather unfolded the story layer by layer, starting with the background of the Great Wall's construction, its historical context, its military function, and the sacrifices of ordinary people, placing the grand historical narrative back into the context of real people and the era. Driver: Extremely responsible! He called the night before to inform us of the details; he picked us up from the hotel the next day, and was very punctual. Everything was arranged very well. Tour Guide: The tour guide was amazing! She provided non-stop commentary throughout the entire trip, very professional and meticulous. She was also very nice and answered all our questions. It was a very enjoyable experience. I originally wanted to travel independently, but the cost of round-trip transportation, entrance fees, and a guided tour was about the same, so I figured I might as well have a professional tour package. 🤣
